I am looking for some advice on travelling from Egypt (Cairo or Dahab area) to Jordan and them maybe to Isreal. We are doing 3 weeks of idependent travel in Oct, Nov to Egypt. We would like to then to go Jordan and then to Isreal then to Istanbul. Should we use a tour agent for part of this route? If so any recommendation? Does anyone have suggestions on a route to do this type of trip independent. Thanks!

Hi Ratalinda,

I just wrote a post about the tour company I used in April, Egypt 7000.[/L] I highly recommend them and they can probably help connect you to agents in the other countries you are interested in. Sounds like an amazing trip!

How are you planning on getting to Istanbul from Israel? It's impossible to enter Syria or Lebanon with an Israeli passport stamp. While there is a possible way around this (see here Jordan Jubilee - To Israel ), it's not guaranteed, so you'd have to fly, or else do the trip in reverse, starting in Istanbul. There is plenty of info on the Middle East branch if you search or look at FAQs.
