hello, i am a male solo traveller trying to decide whether to travel to Egypt in April or not. My intention is to stay from 15 days to 20 days. First the nile valley and Cairo and then Dahab and Sharm. I need a piece of advice if it is worth going alone and meet other backpackers or solo travellers or if it is a country that is best appreciate with company. Thank you

I can't speak for the Nile Valley and Cairo, but I've been to Dahab 5 times on my own and you'll easily meet other people there, especially if you go diving.

Just to add, Egypt will be getting quite warm at that time of year. Coming into Summer big time, so prepare for some hot weather.

I am an advocate of solo travel and there are basic hotels where foreign travellers frequent if you like to hitch up and travel with someone. This forum might also be a place to try your luck with this as well.

You will see lots of travellers in both Luxor and Aswan but getting fewer as it gets hotter.

Cheers.

well, Cairo is a big city, I don't think u can easily meet with other tourists over there, but in other cities like Luxor,Aswan and Sharm, am sure you're gonna find the good fellows specially if u're a social person.
and yes it's gonna be the beginning of the summer season in here.
welcome to Egypt dude, I hope you like it and enjoy urself :)
