Hi there!

Does anyone out there have any experience from letting QEA (Quest for the egyptian adventure) for putting together trips in and around Luxor? Are their tailor made trips worth the extra money?

Do them yourself, its oh so easy and at your leisure so you aren't fixed to another timetable.

Thank you for your answers. Your both right - that's the way I usually travel. However, I might have expressed my question a little unclear.

I don't like the idea of spending time in Luxor trying to find a "honest" guide/travel service that only takes me to places where I want to go and not to their shop "on the way" (Warnings from LP-guide and a limited time in the area made me choose this alternative). So this time I want the main attractions ready from the start and some days on my own. Lonely Planet mentioned QEA in their guide book, and I've got a travelplan from them that met my demands in a very good way - at least on the paper. It also looked good compared with what other travelagencys in the region have to offer.

QEA put toghter the day schedual from my demands and listed points of interest. Every point of interest are on my demands, rules about "tourist traps" and so on is also specified, extra time and a slower pace is also included.

However - they are expensive compared with others. So...is QEA that good that it is worth the extra money? Anyone who have dealt with QEA that have an opinion about them?
