Hotel in Hurghada, please no "Bunker"

Hi
We (couple and 4 year-old) would like to spend one week in Hurghada surroundings End of October (goald being some warm water and weather).

I find it extremely difficult to find a place to stay I "can live with". We would like a smaller place and no 500-1'00 rooms hotel... Do you have any reccomendation to make ; a must is the direct access to the sea ? Are there any hotels you could recommend which have no 500+ rooms (we are mor the backpack type and with kid look for small nice places and I just cannot book one of these other places..)

there are many hotels that are less than 500 room,
for example :
premier romance hotel ( rooms:82)
jaz makadi star resort (rooms:167)
calimera golden beach (rooms:294)

and many of hotels but it depends on the availability and your reservation and budget .

If you are more backpackery then Hurghada is the last place you want to go. Go to Dahab instead.
