I usually do the midnight bookstore run when HP books come out and then hole up for the weekend reading it. However, I will be in Egypt when the last one is relased. Where can I go to buy it? Can I put my name down anywhere? Oh, and I need it in English.

Main bookshops for english books in Cairo are the shops of the American University in Dowtown (Midan Tahrir) and somewhere in Zamalek Diwan library in Zamalek Virgin Megastore in CityStars.
As for having Harry Potter on the first day... hey girl, you're in EGYPT there, not in the UK. A good opportunity to read Egyptian litterature and become a little more... errr... educated ?
