Hello all,

I am looking to see if anyone can confirm that this ferry is still running. I have found a timetable: http://www.ask-aladdin.com/ferries.html
but would like to know if anyone has any first-hand experience with this.

The old ferry from Hurghada to Sharm El Sheikh, has not operated since October 2010. When are you planning to make the journey?

Sandyfoot, thanks for the reply. I was thinking of going around the first/second week of January, but at this point I'm just doing some preliminary research.

If you act early you can find many cheap flights sharm to luxor.. the bus option is long even if you overnight in cairo.. ive done it 2x and hurt for a few days!!
