In Egypt with a one-month tourist visa which will expire on Oct 7th. Went to extend it as i want to stay until the 15th and go to Israel, but Egyptian passport office staff say that an extension is unnecessary as there is a two-week 'grace' period after the visa expiry date.
So far so good, just wondered if anyone's tested this idea at the border recently?
