Cairo layover. Which is the best way to see the pyramids

Hello everyone, i have a stopover in Cairo on the way to Ethiopia. I arrive at 5.15am and depart 22.30pm.

I would like some advice please on the best way to visit the pyramids. should i take a taxi and if so how much should i pay?

I know there have been lots of posts relating to this but nothing too recent.

Any advice and recomendations how to spend my time much appreciated.

Same situation here. Any chance you're travelling there on the 14th?

Hi david i leave the uk on 12th and arrive cairo on 13th and then addis 14th. Is this the same flight as you? If so would you care to share a taxi?
