Hi there,
Me and a friend are going to catch a ferry from aqaba in Jordan to nuweiba in sinai, Egypt. We then want to catch a bus down the coast to dahab and other coastal towns down I the penisula of sharm el sheikh. I've heard the bus is very irregular and detours inland a bit (which I've heard is more dangerous and would rather stick to the coast). Has anyone had any experience with this? Thank you

If you arrive at Nuweiba there are very regular (not at all "irregula' bus services to dahab and sharm el sheikh.
And the services dont go inland.
Supposedly the route between sharm el sheikh-dahab and the west of sinai is not so safe though myself I had a very safe bus travel.

Okay interesting. So I hope the bus is safe I'm nervous about it. I want I bus down between nuweiba, dahab, sharm el sheikh and other small places along the south east coast. Anyone else had any experience with this and know if it's safe?

I traveled down and up that road 2/3 months ago and neither encountered or heard of any problems regarding the local buses so i would declare them , apart from sod's law , safe ., Enjoy the ride .
