I'm trying to plan an affordable private tour (my parents, girlfriend, and me) around Egypt for around 12 days. We'd like to go to Cairo, Nile Cruise, Abu Simbel, and Sinai. My girlfriend and I are on a RTW and are meeting my parents for their holiday. Basically, we prefer to travel independently, but would like my parents to have a smooth, hassel-free holiday in which they can see a lot and relax a bit, but not with a busload of other people. Can anybody recommend a private tour company? ABC Egypt Tours has a package around $700-$800 per person including the cruise, transport, accomodation, and some meals. It's one of the cheapest I've found, but I want to be sure it's trustworthy. Would it be better to organize something like this in cairo by arriving a week before my parents get there? Thanks in advance.

I think organizing everything in Cairo could be a good idea. Eventually, find a good cruise by yourself and then act like your own travel agency, booking your hotels in Aswan and Luxor (where I guess is the places your mainly gonna stay at) + the airplane ticket down to Aswan by yourself.
But the only reason for doing this is that there's a specific boat you wanna get onto, I don't think you'll be saving much money this way.
Don't know the tour company, sorry.
