Hi All

I have always wanted to go to the Okavango Delta and I am hoping to do this in spring 2012 and to combine this with a trip to the Skeleton Coast in Namibia, for about 4-6 weeks.

But I would traveling by myself and I am a girl with no car-fixing skills, I only know how to drive one! And I will be on a very tight budget.

I am just wondering is this trip even possible, given my solo traveling, tight budget and non-car-fixing skills. I have been to Africa before, so I don't necessary need to see the big five; I really want to see the scenery of the Okavango Delta and Skeleton Coast.

ANY advice???? Do I have to rent a car & drive myself & hope nothing breaks? Or can I arrange for tours or guides once I get there? I do appreciate the freedom of not being in tours, but I don't think I can handle a broken car.

THANKS

How about public transport? You cannot take the car into the Delta anyway. "Hoping that nothing breaks" sounds like a horrible plan...
