What is the best way of getting to Maun in Botswana? I will be traveling to Johannesburg, Lusaka and Livingstone. I am aware of flights from Johannesburg but are there way of getting there from Livingstone?

I did this trip last thursday. It's not too hard, but I wouldn't recommend doing it alone. We took the bus from Livingstone to the border at 5 am, ferry across the border, got to Kasane and realized there was no more busses (at 7.30 in the morning), ended up hitch hiking to Nata (as the road strait to Maun is closed), and got a minibus from there to Maun. Got to Maun around 5 pm. However there is a bus going to Gabrone from Lusaka, through Livingstone a few times a week, so try to get on that one.
