Hi Everyone!
Does anybody knows whether there is any public transport connecting Palapye with any major town in South Africa (as Pietesburg or eventually Pretoria) during the dry season? I will be heading south from Botswana to South Africa, but have no interest in going to Gaborone to later cross the border.
Any comments or suggestions will be more than appreciated!

We were in Palapye July 2009, stayed at Itumela Camp and the informative staff there said there were no buses to South Africa there.

We had been by private car through Martin's Drift to Botswana on another trip since there were no buses and had hoped things had changed.
We took buses from Kasane to Palypye and then taxi to Itumela Camp.
From there we caught a ride with a Zim guy to Gaborone and made it to Pretoria/ Shoestrings Airport Lodge Backpackers all in one day, but it was a long one.
Love to know if you find a better way!
