I'm going to have about 7 days to spend, starting in Addis.
I would love to do some trekking and was wondering what my options are?
I looked at going into the Semiens (and possibly climb Ras Dashen). Is that possible?
If not, is there other trekking I can do in the highlands? The more I can hike amongst tall mountains the better. I would prefer to keep trip costs to a minimum.
Thanks!
Matt
Hi whats the ATM situation like in Madagascar, mainly the capital and south along the RN7? (Having just been to El Salvador where there seemed to be problems with ATMs not working for tourists in a few major places) I have a few visa cards and a mastercard. Is it safer just to bring a load of euros and change at the airport.

I'm open to suggestions of other national parks along the way. I plan on using the taxi browse service if travelling solo, but also happy to split the cost on any upgrades.. I am…
I am looking for a company that does 5-6 days trekking in the Namib-Naukluft National Park. I am looking for a trekking trip, not a safari. This is for a challenge that we will be doing for charity, hence it needs to be tough. Camping each night.
Many thanks,
Liv

Hey guys,
In November I will be travelling through Guinea Bissau and Guinea. My journey starts in Bissau, and ends in Conakry. When I enter Guinea I will go via the Gabu - Koundara - Boke route. However, once I'm in the Fouta Djallon I would love to explore the area a bit.
Do any of you know some accommodations in the Fouta Djallon region. Preferably places that can be reached within a days drive from Gabu? So far I only know of Hotel De Ville in Koundara and Hotel Tata in Labé. I would most…
