I’m trying to find out if we can get a bus from Mwanza to Kigali via the Rusumo border crossing. Has anyone had experience of this? I’m imagining we can get a bus from Mwanza to the border and then hop on a local bus to Kigali, but I can’t find out if that’s possible ... any advice would be gratefully received!

In April we are on a Peregrine Tour which stays in Fez for 2 nights. One whole day is spent in the medina, shopping and looking around. I am a keen photographer and want to go to Chefchaouen to take some photos. We have decided to go with a driver at about 5pm the afternoon we arrive in Fez, stay overnight in Chefchaouen and take photos in the early morning before the crowds arrive. Leave at 10am and get back about 2pm and then go to the Medina for a few hours. We aren't interesting in…

For our 10 days in Morocco in late February, I've boiled it down to two possibilities (we can exit from anywhere, we haven't yet booked our departure flight)

Schedule A:
(fly into:)
Casablanca
El Jadida
Tangiers(train)
Meknes
Fes (3 days in this region)
Azrou
Ait Bouguemez
Marrakesh
With 10 days I'm thinking it might be tight, which place is most skippable?

Otherwise;
Schedule B:
Casablanca
El Jadida
then directly to Erg Chigaga (3-4 days)
Marrakesh
Meknes and Fes (3 days)

I'm uncertain if either of these…

Hi all

My boyfriend and I are travelling to Mauritius in February and we’re trying to work out the best way to get around the island, public transport is preferred (how reliable are the buses?) but could hire a car.

We will be going from the airport to Le Monde peninsula, Chamalet and hoping to do some walking around the Black River Gorges national park there before heading toward Port Louis/Balaclava and then back to the airport.

Does anyone have any travel tips in terms of getting around…

Hey guys,

Has anyone done a tour like the blue safari from Matemwe as it looks like these tours mostly start near Stone Town. What kind of trips are there from Matemwe? Do you recommend any?

Cheers,

Adam

Hi,

I'm thinking about doing a Road Trip in Southern Morocco, I plan on renting a SUV. I've been on many international trips and always rented my own car to explore. My biggest concern is road conditions, please see my sample itinerary below, from what I can see on google maps it appears most of this will be covered by paved roads or decent dirt roads. May add extra days to slow the pace of the trip down but generally this would the route I'm thinking of.

Day 1: Marrakesh- Telouet – Ait…

A quick question. Has anyone here ever managed to drive their own vehicle into Equatorial Guinea across the land border? I know that a few people have managed to get into the country overland using public transport (although it seems as though more people were turned back!), but I haven't found any stories of self-drive overlanders who succeeded. Has anyone heard tell of anyone who managed this?
