Surfing Trip Advice for Bournemouth, Dorset!

Hi all,

I need some advice from any of you seasoned UK surfers out there!

Considering my partner turns 23 at the end of July, I figure this is a perfect opportunity to take us both away on a weekend trip to Bournemouth, which not only is a short 1hr 20min train journey from our hometown of Southampton, but also boasts a beautiful stretch of sandy beach without breaking the bank! Neither of us have ever even* attempted* surfing before, so I could think of nothing better than enrolling on a 2hr…

Sunday will be mostly gearing up for the game, drinking beer etc. We are allowed to head to the Stadium 3 hours in advance. Does anyone have…

The Yorkshire Dales - review of a good place to stay and plea for easy cycling rides

I went to the Dales for the first time over Easter and had a very special time. I went walking and stayed at the Bathurst Inn ( I've written a review http://frockfriday.co.uk/yorkshire-dales-the-charles-bathurst-inn/ if you're looking for somewhere to stay yourself). However, I'd like to go back and do some cycling, starting off 'easy'. If you know of any blogs or websites with easy cycle rides in the Dales I'd be really grateful as I'd love to go back soon.
