National bike route LF11 starts here and runs northwest 110km to Den Haag via Dordrecht and Rotterdam. LF9 runs via Utrecht all the way to the north coast, and LF13 runs via Breda straight east from Middelburg to the German border.


Buses leave from the Transport Terminal platforms on the north side of the train station. Useful services include the following.

  • Bus 401 to Utrecht, every hour, €12.40, 75 minutes
  • Bus 115 to Zundert, twice hourly, €3.80, 40 minutes
  • Flixbus ( overnight service direct to Paris, 12.55am (from €25, 5½ hours, prebook online).


Useful direct train connections include Rotterdam (€9.50, 21 to 31 minutes), Den Bosch (€8.30, 35 minutes) and Einhoven (€10.80, 40 minutes). To use the Intercity direct train via Rotterdam and Schipol Airport to Amsterdam (€22.80, 70 minutes) you'll need to click your OV-chipkaart on the red 'Toeslag' post on the platform to pay the high-speed supplement (€2.40/1.20 peak/off-peak). You don't have to pay that if using regular trains via Den Bosch (30 minutes longer).
