Greetje is Amsterdam's most creative Dutch restaurant, using the best seasonal produce to resurrect and re-create traditional Dutch recipes, like pickled beef, braised veal with apricots and leek stamppot (traditional mashed potatoes and vegetables), and pork belly with Dutch mustard sauce. Kick off with the Big Beginning (€17), a sampling of hot and cold starters.

If you can't decide on dessert, which includes dishes like lemon buttermilk pie with crushed candy-cookie crust, and ice-cream soufflé of apricots, curd with soaked prunes and marinated grapes, there's the Dutch cheese selection with apple syrup, soaked prunes and dark rye bread.
