A brimming organic breakfast basket is delivered to you each morning at this metal-hulled, mahogany-panelled 1913 houseboat, moored in a quiet waterway 10 minutes' walk from Centraal Station (five from the Jordaan). Eco initiatives include solar power, two bikes to borrow and a canoe for canal explorations. Minimum stay is two nights.
Guests can take an extraordinary private tour with a local fisherman and scientist, Piet, to see waterways not usually accessible to the public (per person €75).
Situated a 15-minute walk from Central Station, Ms Luctor offers a well-equipped apartment with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. The Anne Frank House is 15 minutes by foot. The apartment has a parquet floor with views on the canal. It provides a seating area and bathroom with shower. A steering wheel is featured in the dining area. The complimentary breakfast at the houseboat is served in the room. It consists of bread, orange juice and spread. Within a 10-minute walk several lunchrooms, cafes and restaurants are located. Ms Luctor offers free bicycle rental for guests to explore the centre and its landmarks. You can also relax on the terrace if permitted by weather. The historic neighbourhood De Jordaan is just 10 minutes by foot. Dam Square is 2 km from the boat. From tramstop Zoutkeetsgracht which is 800 metres away, it is 10 minutes by tram to Leidseplein.
