The Mon Tribal Village is a small ethnic village at the northern end of the Vajiralongkorn Dam. The village is inhabited by the Mon tribe which still lead a simple life. It has become a magnet for tourists who want to explore the life and culture of the tribe up close. Many tour operators offer half or full day tours to the village which usually include a performance of Mon dancers and local food. For longer stays, private accommodations and a few small guesthouses are available. However, the highlight there is without doubt the longest wooden bridge in Thailand, the famous Mon Bridge that connects the Mon Tribal Village with Sangkhlaburi.
