You will be picked up from your hotel or resort in Phuket for a 5-hour exploration of some of Phuket’s most famous sites. The tour will give you a brief introduction of Phuket, its history, and some of the most stunning sights on the island. You can choose to either take a morning or afternoon tour. You will start your journey with a visit the main city on the island. The town is rich in culture and history. You will be taken to the Sino-Portuguese style buildings and you will also get an opportunity to shop at one of the many bustling local markets. Phuket town was originally settled about a century ago by Chinese residents of Malaysia who were drawn to the lucrative mineral deposits. Tin and rubber fortunes created by the great rush formed the great Sino-Thai dynasties, which still dominate the economies of southern Thailand. The road trip takes in many of the island’s iconic buildings, such as Wat Chalong. This is the most beautiful and renowned monastery that houses bronze images of the monks Luang Pho Chaem and Luang Pho Chuang. The two monks are highly respected by Phuket inhabitants. The temple's highlight is a wax sculpture of the abbot housed in an air-conditioned Thai-style house next to the chapel. You will be taken on the coastline road where you can take panoramic pictures. Another highlight of the tour is a visit to the “Three Beaches’ viewpoint which takes in a superb vista of the beautiful bays of Kata Noi, Kata and Karon.
