Visit the Thailand–Burma Railway Centre to learn more about the history of the second world war in Thailand and pay our respects at the Allied War Cemetery, commemorating the POW’s that passed away while building the railway. We visit THE Bridge over the river kwai as well as the scenic located and original wooden bridge, which we will cross both by train as well as explore on foot. We stay overnight at the River Kwai to enjoy the fresh ozon and jungle air the area has to offer. On our second day we explore what is called the ‘Hellfire Pass Memorial’. This part of the railroad got its name from the ghostly shadows reflected on the rocks of malnourished POWs working at night by the light of campfires. After all our exploring we go to the Erawan national park to hike up and swim at the waterfall before driving back to Bangkok.

Explore Kanchanaburi province and all the history it has to offer, from a temple to various prominent World War II sites.Starting with a pick up from your hotel, we will first be visiting Wat Tham Sua, otherwise known as the Tiger Cave temple. Known for it's stairs to reach the top where the biggest Buddha image in the province is, tiger paw marks in the cave and a holy gong that is believed to grant a wish if it makes a sound when you lightly rub it. Next, we will check out the infamous Bridge over River Kwai. See the locale for yourself, and find out the history behind it. After lunch, head over to the Thai-Burma Railway, also known as the "Death Railway". Find out more about how it was made, and what it was for.Finally, we will lighten the mood with a trip to the Elephant Haven, which is part of the ethical ‘Saddle Off’ program. Mingle and even bath with the elephants, before heading back to your hotel.
