Huge and faded, Top North has a good pool, but lackadaisical staff and tired-looking facilities. Standard and superior rooms in the older building are a bit of a mixed bag (en suites get a little musty) – ask for a room in the newer wing. Rates include breakfast.
Air-conditioned rooms feature a private balcony with views of Chiang Mai city. They are equipped with cable TV and a refrigerator. The private bathroom has a bathtub with shower and amenities.
Guests can relax by the sun deck near the pool or enjoy massage treatments. The hotel provides tour arrangements and car rental. Currency exchange and laundry service are also available.
Top North’s restaurant offers a range of Thai, Chinese and international dishes.
Hotel Top North is a short walk from the Sunday Walking Street. The Night Bazaar and numerous dining options are a 10-minute walk away. Chiang Mai International Airport is a 15-minute drive from the hotel.
