Jay So has no signage or menu, but a mortar and pestle and a huge grill out front are the telltale signs of ballistically spicy sôm·đam (green papaya salad), sublime herb-stuffed, grilled catfish and other northeastern Thai specialities. Just look for a ramshackle street stall with a green awning, about halfway down the street.
