Mall-based movie theatres provide the bulk of entertainment options in this part of Bangkok.

Siam Square’s Silver Screens

Each Bangkok mall has its own cinema, but few can rival Paragon Cineplex. In addition to 16 screens, more than 3000 seats and Thailand’s largest IMAX screen, the options here include the Blue Ribbon Screen, a cinema with a maximum of 72 seats, where you’re plied with pillows, blankets, complimentary snacks and drinks, and of course, a 15-minute massage; and Enigma, where in addition to a sofa-like love seat designed for couples, you’ll be served cocktails and food (as well as blankets and a massage).

If you’re looking for something with less glitz and a bit more character, consider the old-school stand-alone theatres just across the street, such as Scala and Lido.
