There's always a crowd in front of this fabulous breakfast place in a small street next to Maison de Chine. They whip up five dozen varieties of sandwiches and pancake rolls, but the star by far is the delectable egg pancake with tonkatsu or Japanese fried pork cutlet (峰炸蛋餅, fēngzhà dàn bǐng).
You can eat there at one of the many makeshift tables or get takeout. Either way, the wait is likely to be long (45 minutes at peak times). The restaurant closes on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month.
