Huting Guesthouse

Campground, cabin in Niushan Huting

Travellers can stay the night inside the Huting Recreation Area, an old grazing area (Cow Mountain is called Huting by the indigenous people) developed by a friendly Ami family into a rustic resort. There's a cafe-restaurant serving Ami food (dishes from NT$250), a simple campground set up on the open grassy fields, and rustic driftwood cabins.

There is a NT$50 admission to the recreation area – only mildly interesting as a sightseeing spot.
