Lu Mama Yunnan Restaurant

Chinese in Cingjing

A remnant of Cingjing's Yunnan and Southeast Asia connection, this restaurant was started by a woman of the Bayi tribe who set up house in Cingjing with her KMT-veteran husband. A range of tasty Yunnan classics are available, including hotpot (汽锅, qìguō), tossed pig skin (涼拌薄片, liángbàn bópiàn) and preserved-papaya-and-chicken soup (酸木瓜雞湯, suān mùguā jītāng).

As the restaurant is very busy, diners are requested to spend no more than 90 minutes inside. Meal times begin at 11am, 1pm, 2.30pm, and 5pm.
