On top, the "Oberalp pass" you will see a small lighthouse - your tourguide will explain you the story. The train will start to descent on a steep track down to Andermatt, a village on 1400m above sea level and now opening the new resorts. The train will stop in Andermatt for 15 minutes, that you will have the chance to get off the train for same fresh air. The journey will continue through the 15 kilometer long "Furka" base tunnel, constructed in 1982 to save travel time from Andermatt to Brig and to operate all year. The Glacier Express will continue through the “Goms” valley in direction of Brig. This valley is known as a destination for hiking (summer time) and winter sports. After two hours travel time from Andermatt away,  you will arrive in Brig. In Brig you will get off the Glacier-Express train and you can take the chance for a little walk around through the pedestrian zone in Brig and the palace "Stockalper".  You'll be shown the place, where the water level was 4 meter high in 1993, where the local river flooded the city center. Your tourguide will lead you to the right train in Brig, where  you will board an intercity train. Your tourguide will most probably leave you in Brig and will handover all necessary tickets and information to you.
