Swiss Alps Ski or Snowboard Rental Package from Interlaken

Head to your ski and snowboard hire shop in central Interlaken to kit yourself out and collect your equipment. The shop sits 100 meters from the ski bus stop and within easy reach of the slopes above Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. Connections to other ski resorts and peaks within the Jungfrau region such as Wengen, Männlichen, Kleine Scheidegg and Mürren are also easy on the Jungfraubahn train network.Select a 1-, 2- or 3-day hire and decide on 4- or 5-star quality. Discuss your ski or snowboard rental requirements with the staff member on hand. Then, browse the impressive range of snowboards, skis and boots on offer. The complete range of snowboards, skis and boots from kid to adult sizes and beginner to race level is available to rent. The 5-star range offers newer and better quality equipment, including slightly more specialized products such as twin-tipped, racing and off-piste skis. The 4-star selection of skis and boards is best suited to learner or improver skiers and snowboarders happy to hire equipment from previous winter seasons but, like the 5-star range, it does also include brand new gear. When you’ve chosen your equipment, try it for size and — with your ski hire technician on hand — make any necessary adjustments. Then, you’re good to go! Your hire kit even comes with a 10% insurance charge against unintentional damage and theft included, leaving you to relax and enjoy the slopes.

It's a series of 10 pounding waterfalls that have cut through the rock to form immense underground channels and torrents. Fed by the glaciers of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, 20,000 liters of water per second pound their way through the chasm to the valley below. This underground spectacle is made ingeniously and perfectly accessible by a tunnel funicular and a series of illuminated tunnels, galleries, and balconies. After, return to Lauterbrunnen by bus. From the bus stop you can already enjoy the beauty of the “Staubbach” Waterfall. Anyone who has ever wanted to meet one of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's "muses" is in the right place in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The Prince of Poetry was inspired by the imposing Staubbach Falls for his work "Song of the Spirits Over the Waters". Lauterbrunnen's landmark is approximately 300 metres (1000 ft) above the vertical rock face being third highest waterfall in Switzerland – a natural display of a quality that can only be seen here. From the foot of the waterfall, a path leads up to the Staubbach Gallery. After a short climb takes you right up to, and then behind the curtain of water. After a few switchbacks, you enter a long tunnel, and then cling to the edge of the cliff as water swirls in the air all around you. You'll get wet. You'll have fun. The spray fountains, which gave their name to the waterfall, can be observed here up close.
