Test your nerve against the might of the Swiss Alps on this full-day canyoning trip to Chli Schliere from Interlaken. Travel into the wilds of the mountainous Swiss countryside with your guide. Jump off high canyon sides through tumbling waterfalls, splash through swirling plunge pools and enjoy plenty of adventurous thrills and spills. Clamber over the rocky terrain and slide down natural chutes, then replenish lost energy with a light lunch at the end. Following a morning pickup from one of our designated meeting points, you will meet your guide and prepare your equipment. Take the 1-hour journey out to Alpnach, nestled among the soaring peaks and rolling valleys of the mighty Swiss Alps. On arrival, change into your wetsuit, helmet and other safety gear then listen as your guide details your activities for the day. Following a comprehensive safety briefing from your guide, head to your start point at the Chli Schliere canyon — a physically demanding and technically challenging canyon with a high adrenaline factor. During your 3- to 4-hour adventure, test your nerve and push yourself to the limits through a series of huge rock jumps, plummeting drops, natural chutes and swirling plunge pools. With many of the jumps over 32 feet high, this tour is best-suited to strong swimmers looking for adrenaline-pumping adventure. When you’ve climbed, leapt and splashed your way to the end of the canyon, enjoy a light lunch of bread, cheese, cucumber and tomatoes and a refreshing drink of beer or water to replenish lost energy. Afterward, hop back aboard your vehicle for the return journey to base, then onward to your drop off location where your tour will come to an end.Please note: This tour is heavily dependent on the weather situation and doesn't run during or after bad weather. There is no exit for people who want to stop during the trip once inside the canyon.
