Fit for explorers of all skill levels, this outing features the towering cliffs, forested hillsides, and calm waters that make Interlaken one of the most picturesque settings around.Meet your guide at our office (Am Quai 1, 3806 Boenigen, Switzerland) on the lake's southern shore, where you pick up your kayak and get ready to launch into the water. The excursion leads you across the mouth of the River Lütschine and past the towns that line the lake's northern shore.Look up at the 12th-century citadel of Ringgenberg Castle as you glide out toward the wilderness of campgrounds and hidden beaches that lie farther north along the lake. Along the way, your guide offers some advice to help you hone your paddling skills, and you can get some spectacular photos to capture the beauty of the Swiss Alps from a great new angle.What to bring with you: Swimsuit, change of clothes, waterproof footwear, sunglasses, sun hat, sunscreen, a bottle of water, and snacks.What’s included: • Experienced Sea Kayak Coach. • Small group sizes (from 2-6). • Top quality sea kayaks and paddles. • Photo package.What to know before you book: • Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked tour start time. • Children 11 and younger are not allowed. • If you have back, neck, lower back, joint or muscular problems, you should carefully consider whether or not to participate. • You do not need previous kayaking experience, but you must be able to handle a kayak on your own. • This product is subject to cancellation or rescheduling based on inclement weather.Weather: Please note that our courses and tours run in all weather conditions provided that it is safe to paddle. Often the weather is better than forecast and part of the charm of our sport is experiencing nature in all the elements - even on a rainy day, the views and atmosphere are beautiful and dramatic.
