The heart-stopping, head-first 1km tobogganing course, Cresta Run, was created by British visitors in 1885. A set of five rides, including tuition, costs Sfr600 (and Sfr51 per ride thereafter). This is different from a bobsleigh run. Here, the rider goes down solo in a lying position head first, using rakes on the end of special boots to brake and steer.
