Hermitage

Vegetarian in Gamla Stan

Image by Adam Grimshaw Lonely Planet

While it lacks atmosphere or any culinary punch, casual Hermitage is a good spot for a well-priced, no-fuss meat-free feed. The limited vegetarian buffet includes both cold and hot dishes, the latter hidden away in the drawers beside the main buffet unit. The price includes salad and homemade bread, and there's a discount for takeaway orders. Vegan fare is also available, including cakes.
