Hello
I will be in St Lucia first week of July and looking into a one day trip or 2 nights cruise to the Grenadines.
Which company would you recommend?
Is it better to make our way to St Vincent and find a cruise there or will there be options in St Lucia?
Thank you
Alex

UEFA Champions League Final - where to watch?

Hello Everyone,

I arrive on St Vincent on the 25th, and spend all day Saturday 26th of May on the island. I was wondering if cable access is widely available at hotels, etc., or if there is are specific bars and places where I could go and watch the UEFA Champions League Final on the island somewhere. I've been told football is not a big sport there, and the time of the match is rather early as this year it's played in Kiev, Ukraine. So the time difference is significant.

If anyone has current…

Sailboat cruise march 2018

Hello all. I'm usually a hired skipper for charters, but for 2018 I have decided I wanted to sail with friends and family.
We will be sailing from St-Vincent down the Grenadines islands.
We plan on stopping in Bequia, Mayreau, Tobago cays, Union, Petit St-Vincent, maybe Canouan.
The Grenadines are one of our preferred sailing destinations. The sailing is great, the water clear, the people friendly.
The Grenadines are a bit off the main paths compared to the BVI's but the experience is much more…

St. Vincent - Boat hire or day tour?

Hello... Several years ago I took a day tour around the Tobago Cays.

This time we will be a party of 2 and would like to visit some other islands... Bequia? Mustique***? Canouan? As the crow flies, Canouan is the furthest south of the 3, but still only 25 miles or so south of St. Vincent. Are there day tours from St. Vincent which visit these islands?

Alternatively, we were just wondering if we could rent a boat (not necessarily a sailboat, just a regular one?) and make our way down to…

volcano treck

Hi,

Does anyone know of any local guides for the volcano? It is very expensive to do it through the big tour operators and dont need transport/drinks etc.

Thanks
Katie .

Learn to sail in September?

My husband and I are looking to take a vacation around the 1st and 2nd week in September (dates aren't really negotiable). We would really like to do a live aboard learn to sail in the Grenadines, but I am worried about the weather since it will be hurricane season for most of the Caribbean. Can anyone give me some insight into the weather conditions for sailing in September? And the reliability of flights from the US at that time? We plan to fly through Puerto Rico probably using Liat.

Has any one taken the boat from St Vincent to Bequia?

I'll be there soon and want to see some of the other Islands in the Grenadines but i'll be travelling with someone who gets sea-sick and is "High-Maintainence".....(yes its my mrs!)

How long is the crossing and how rough is it?
