While on this highway, we will pass the Robert Llewelyn Bradshaw International Airport, travel onto the Kim Collins Highway and into the Frigate Bay Area. Frigate Bay is the part of the island most marketed toward tourists. I refer to this area as our Beverly Hills. This area has the island's best beaches, a few resorts including the St. Kitts Marriott Hotel, the island's only golf course (18 holes) and various types of cuisine including Indian, Hawaiian, Mexican etc. Past the main area in Frigate Bay is the South East Peninsula. It overlooks Timothy Hill, The Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Our sister island, Nevis, can also be seen from this location. The island forms part of the Federation of St. Kitts - Nevis. Nevis is only two miles away. From the end of the ten mile long Peninsula road, Antigua (65 miles away) can be seen on a clear day.
