There’s so much to see in Europe; don’t settle for a cramped bus tour. Head south for an adventure as unique as you are. Beginning in London—traveller central—you’ll cross the channel for some French culture before hitting Spain for Moorish history, architecture in Barcelona and a tapas culture that will set you up for the endless nightlife. Best of all, this trip doesn’t fade out—you’ll finish up in Morocco with its mosques, medinas and kasbahs. It’s a European tour with a southern kiss of the exotic.

Itinerary

Day 1 London/Paris Please note the trip departs London in the evening of Day 1, so it is imperative to arrive on time for departure soon after the 5:30pm Welcome Meeting. Please ensure plenty of time for your journey to London to allow for any possible delays. Included Activities: Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting Transport: Train (3.00 hour(s))
Day 2 Paris (1B, 1L) After an orientation walk with the CEO, then share a picnic lunch opposite the Eiffel Tower. Afterwards you are free to explore on your own to discover the “je ne sais quoi” of the City of Lights. Paris has something for everyone so use the days here to explore the outstanding museums and churches, float down the Seine on a river cruise or people watch at one of the charming cafés. Day 3 Paris (1B) Free day to explore Paris.
Day 4 Paris/Barcelona (1B) Fly in style to Barcelona, then enjoy an orientation walk of the city including the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas. Visit Parc Güell and opt to go for an evening tapas and wine bar stroll. Included Activities: Orientation Walk Parc Güell Visit Transport: Plane (2.50 hour(s))
Day 5 Barcelona (1B) Free time to visit the Sagrada Familia and other Gaudí masterpieces or the beach of Barceloneta. Be sure to indulge in Barcelona's nightlife.
Day 6 Barcelona/Granada (1B) Free time to explore Barcelona. Overnight train to Granada. Transport: Basic overnight train (beds) (12.00 hour(s))
Day 7 Granada (1B) A trip to Granada wouldn't be the same without a night on the town, the city is filled with trendy tapas bars and has a lively music scene. Additional Notes: If interested in visiting Alhambra, please ensure to pre-book your tickets and book tours after 12:30pm. Tickets are rarely available without purchasing far in advance. Day 8 Granada/Seville Orientation walk through the winding alleyways of Seville, then opt to explore the Alcazar or watch a flamenco performance. Included Activities: Orientation Walk Transport: Local bus (4.00-5.00 hours)
Day 9 Seville/Chefchaouen The djellaba, the traditional hooded garment worn by the men and women of North Africa, was created here. Chefchaouen is a great place to check out many of Morocco's ancient crafts. Visit one of the many traditional oil mills, a weaving workshop, and basket-making. You may like take part in a pottery workshop and create your own masterpiece. Don't miss a visit to one of the village's unusual communal attics or the chance to sample the local goats' milk cottage cheese. Yum! Day 10 Chefchaouen Free day in Chefchaouen. Opt to hike through the mountains, explore local villages and be mesmerized by nearby waterfalls.
Day 11 Chefchaouen/Fès Start exploring in the ancient labyrinth of the medina and if you find your way out you can head to the leather tanneries and dye pits. The whole medina itself will whisk you back in time as you wander the alleyways which have barely changed in appearance since medieval times. Transport: Private Vehicle (4.00 hour(s))
Day 12 Fès (1B) Explore the artisan quarters of the Fès medina , sample treats from the carts, and view the famous leather tannery from above. In the evening, opt for dinner in a converted riad complete with local specialties, music, and belly dancing. Additional Notes: Only certified local guides are allowed to act as guides in the medina, so the CEO cannot accompany the group to the medina during free time.
Day 13 Fès/Casablanca (1B) Travel to Casablanca and step back in time in the Old Medina, admire the spectacular Hassan II Mosque (second largest in the world after Mecca), explore the art deco quarter or lounge on Casablanca's long sandy beach. Transport: Train (5.00 hour(s))
Day 14 Casablanca/Marrakech (1B) For history and architecture buffs Marrakech is sure to dazzle. The Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youseff Medersa and Almovid Koubba are all easy to get to and well worth a visit. Once you’ve tired yourself out, relax at one of the tea houses around the square, indulging in the ubiquitous sweet mint tea, watching the hustle and bustle from a nice shady spot.
