Welcome to Tamaduste
Strung around a pretty protected bay, framed by low-lying cliffs and a scenic boardwalk dotted with wooden beach umbrellas, the tiny and charming resort village of Tamaduste is the perfect place to escape the outside world for swimming, sunbathing and seaside relaxing. Together with La Caleta, just south, it's Valverde's summer playground, but even in winter you'll spot holidaymakers sun-soaking by the shore. At high tide the cove fills with water and people dive head first into the Atlantic from platforms, steps and ladders; at low tide, the rough waves disappear, leaving nothing more than still pools. Beyond a few apartments and restaurants and a modest chapel, there's little else here.
