El Rinconcillo

Tapas in La Macarena & Alameda de Hércules

The blueprint for centuries' worth of imitators, this is the oldest bar in Seville – and some say, Spain – dating to 1670. Over the centuries, it's become pretty touristy, but it's managed to retain a gnarled sense of authenticity. With its hanging hams, ceramic tiles and dark wood ceilings, it sets a memorable stage for classic tapas.
