Parque de la Prehistoria

Asturias

This park-museum 4km south of Entrago gives an excellent introduction to Spanish and European cave art. It includes replicas of Asturias’ World Heritage–listed Tito Bustillo and Candamo caves and France’s Niaux cave, along with a museum-gallery explaining all about Europe’s Palaeolithic cave-art phenomenon.

Outside, you can observe peacefully grazing live specimens of animals that were depicted in prehistoric art.
