Alternatively, enjoy a cable car ride up Mt Teide (at own expense).When the time comes, return to your coach and journey back to your hotel via the forested Chío area.Departing from north Tenerife:If your hotel is located in Puerto de la Cruz in the north of the island, travel through La Orotava Valley (Valle de la Orotava), an idyllic region filled with gullies and cliffs. Take photos of the lush landscapes, which are dominated by the ever-present Mt Teide, and explore the area’s top sights with your guide.See where the towering Canarian pines grow, and then head deep into the heart of Teide National Park for an up-close look at Mt Teide.
