Parque Nacional de la Caldera de Taburiente in detail

Sights

The LP-2 highway, which links Santa Cruz with Los Llanos, skirts the southern rim of the park, and from the road you can sometimes see the characteristic cloud blanket that fills the interior of the caldera and spills over its sides like a pot boiling over. At other times you may see fantastical clouds form, hanging over the peaks and ravines, before diffusing into the air. You may also see rainbows come and go during the day as sunlight and water vapour interplay in a regular exchange.
