One train station serves both train companies, Renfe and FEVE, the latter located on the upper level. Renfe runs trains to Gijón, León and Madrid.

From the bus station, 700m north of the central Campo de San Francisco, daily buses head to destinations in Asturias, Galicia, Cantabria and elsewhere.

The Aeropuerto de Asturias is at Santiago del Monte, 47km northwest of Oviedo and 40km west of Gijón.
