Flights & getting there
Gran Tarajal lies at the end of the FV-4, which heads abruptly south off the FV-2 artery. Parking is generally not too hard to find in town.
Bus 16 (€5.90, one hour) links Puerto del Rosario with Gran Tarajal four times a day from Monday to Friday via Antigua and twice daily on Saturday and Sunday; bus 1 (€5.90, one hour) also runs the same route. Bus 18 (€3.40, 30 minutes) runs several times daily from Pájara to Gran Tarajal, and bus 9 (€3.40, 30 minutes) trundles once a day at 6.30am to Gran Tarajal from Pájara, en route to Morro Jable.
Ferries used to run between Gran Tarajal and Las Palmas in Gran Canaria, but at the time of writing the service had been suspended.
