Mallorcan in Fornalutx

The views over the village to the Tramuntana peaks at sunset are glorious. The menu is solidly Mallorcan, from pa amb oli (rye bread rubbed with olive oil and garlic, topped with chopped tomatoes) to arros brut ('dirty' rice) and crisp, although dry, lechona (roast suckling pig). Be sure to try the zingy juice, freshly squeezed from local oranges.

If you want a front-row view, book ahead or come early, as many tables are reserved.
