Welcome to Carnota

Carnota stands 1km inland from the approximate midpoint of the spectacular but exposed 7km curve of Praia de Carnota, one of several long, sweeping, sandy beaches facing the open Atlantic north of Monte Louro, which marks the western extremity of the Ría de Muros y Noia. The most protected sections of Praia de Carnota are at its south end, signposted (all with separate names) from Lira.
