Welcome to Canyamel
Little Canyamel is naturally more peaceful than the bigger resorts along the eastern seaboard, although it does have its share of medium-rise development, and the attractive Platja de Canyamel can get very crowded. The well-heeled inhabitants whose expensive houses cling to the southern slopes above the town keep well clear of all that. Inland, there’s a fine medieval tower-turned cultural centre and a majestic cave complex that sees far fewer visitors than similar sites along this pitted coast.
