What are these beautiful and really big monuments? Why Valencians burn it after 5 days exposed in the city? How much are these monuments worth? Why is it a world UNESCO heritage? All these questions and much more information will be explained during this tour. It would be fun and interesting to see the main and most important faults together while we enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate with pumpkin fritters. A Falla is a big sculpted monument with a message, normally to criticize everything and anyone imaginable. These huge monuments made of materials like paper mache, wood and carbon board reach extravagant heights and all are great displays of art. You have four days to see about 700 fallas that are mounted throughout the city. On the final night of Las Fallas, around midnight on March 19, these fallas are burnt as huge bonfires. This is known as the cremà (the burning), the climax of the whole event, and the reason why the constructions are called fallas (torches). Before the official start of the Fallas, there are already lots of things going on. Every day starting on the 1st of March at 14.00 we have a firecracker show called a mascletá. Streets are busy, restaurants do not always take reservations, there are street markets and food, some streets are blocked for traffic and many more things… Come with us and discover everything that happens during this amazing week.
