Getting There & Away
- Bus There are two intercity bus terminals: Nambu Bus Terminal serves the south; Dong-Seoul Bus Terminal serves the east. Long-distance buses arrive at Seoul Express Bus Station, split across two separate buildings: Gyeongbu Line Terminal (kobus.co.kr) serves mainly the eastern region, and Central City Terminal (hticket.co.kr) serves the southwestern region.
- Subway Line 2 runs a loop from north of the Han to the south passing through Gangnam station, Sports Complex station for Olympic Park and Jamsil station for Lotte Tower. Trips clockwise from City Hall or counterclockwise from Hongdae take about 40 minutes. From Anguk station near Insadong, Line 3 runs 15 minutes south to Apgujeong station for the ritzy Apgujeong Rodeo area.
- Taxi A 13-minute ride from the Myeong-dong shopping area to the upmarket Apgujeong shopping district costs about ₩7200.
