A sleek exterior, a marble lobby and welcoming staff are a promising start, but the rooms only just make the grade. The executive queen rooms are a better bet and include the usual executive-floor extras. A handful of restaurants offer global grazing (the Japanese one is the pick of the bunch) but Koreana’s three big advantages are location, location, location.
The modern rooms are equipped with a well-stocked minibar, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Private bathrooms have a bathtub and hairdryer.
Koreana Hotel is located in Seoul's Gwanghwamun intersection, less than 1 km from Namdaemun, Jongmyo Shrine and Ssamji-gil. It is about 47 km from Incheon International Airport.
Guests can check e-mails at the business centre, wash their hair at the salon or buy a gift at the souvenir shop. The hotel also provides laundry services and foreign currency exchange.
Chinese, Western and Japanese cuisines can be enjoyed at the 3 on-site restaurants. Drinks are available at the hotel's bar.
