Does anyone know villages or areas specialized in pottery in South Korea? Do you know if there are workshops or kilns that can be visited? any experience worth mentioning?
Thank you in advance!
This is a family of four (with 2 girls 9 and 6) going to Korea for the first time this mid July.
Any tip about right destinations with kids or an activity you believe it is worthy to experience there?
Any place in the country more likely to avoid rain (if possible)?
Is it worthy to try going to the beach for some days?
Thank you very much in advance!!
Hi I will be in South Korea for two weeks. We get in on a Sunday and leave on a Saturday in the month of June.
This was my proposed itinerary:
SEOUL - Sun - Fri - 6 days/5 nights leave to
JEJU - Fri- Tues 5 days/4 nights leave to
BUSAN - Tues - Thurs 3 days/2 nights back to
SEOUL - Thurs - Sat 2 days/2 nights Saturday traveling back
But, I’m worried this itinerary has no Saturdays in Seoul. Should I perhaps spend more time in Seoul and spend 2 days less in Jeju and 1 night less in Busan so I…
hello, i've planned to spent a few days in ulleung in may. i've seen a list of homestays and inns on the ulleung website, but it's not possible to make a reservation by internet. is it necessary to make a reservation (i'll be there on weekdays not on weekend) ? how to find a (good) homestay when i'll arrive from the ferry ? does anyone has agood address ? i've read on a forum that homestay's owners are waiting for tourists at the arrival of the ferry, is it true ?
thank you. wegman
Hello! I will be visiting South Korea in July (8-21st july) and I would like to know how bad the monsoon season is? I've read a lot of articles about it and I'm afraid that it will rain every day, all day. Is it that bad? When it rains, will it rain all day from the morning til the night? And is it possible to have one week of non-stop rain? We are going to stay in seoul. Thanks a lot.
I will be traveling to Seoul in september for the first time. I'm just wondering if its worth to get the Korail pass and for how many days should I get?

1 night - Boseong
2 nights - Jeonju
I would like to end my trip with 1 night in Incheon.
This leaves me with 2 nights to spare which I need help with. I also need help deciding on the best way to get from Jeju to Boseong and choosing…
I've found the wonderful maps at janboonstra.com which show the 500km cycle route from Pusan to Seoul. I really want to do that route but have a few questions -
I won't have my bike with me, so I'll have to either rent (I guess one-way rentals are impossible?) or buy. Ideally, buying a bike will consist of spending about 200 USD in Pusan and then selling it at a second-hand shop in Seoul for about 50 USD.
Will I be able to buy something rideable for this price? I'll be looking for the…
